Ahmereen was proud to join the Gloucestershire Area team for dinner, just after the local election results were confirmed—placing the Conservative Party in a strong position across a number of key areas.
It was a great opportunity to come together, reflect on the results, and look ahead with renewed energy and determination.
Her sincere thanks to Duncan Hall, Gloucestershire Chairman, the Gloucestershire Area team, and the Gloucestershire Grouping for a wonderful evening at the beautiful Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall. Set within 12 acres of parkland and surrounded by the stunning Cotswold countryside, it provided the perfect setting for an enjoyable and memorable dinner.
It was a pleasure to be joined by Julian Ellacott, Chairman of the National Convention, and to meet members from across the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and the Forest of Dean, alongside Young Conservatives, councillors and candidates from the Gloucester area. We even welcomed representatives from Bristol and Manchester 💙—a testament to the strength and camaraderie of our Conservative family.
A particular pleasure was hearing from Mark Garnier MP for Wyre Forest, whose remarks rounded off an excellent evening. Thank you to everyone who attended and for all that you do to support our Party and local communities.
These results are a testament to the relentless hard work of our councillors, candidates, activists and MPs—people who give their time, energy and commitment to delivering for their local communities.
