As Vice President of the National Convention, I believe leadership means showing up. It means standing on doorsteps alongside our candidates, listening to residents, understanding local concerns, and helping our teams deliver the right message to the right communities.
Over the past six months, I have travelled hundreds of miles, spending three to four days a week supporting Associations and candidates across the country. Together, we have built a growing army of activists through nationwide affiliate action days, Connect calling to GOTV, and grassroots campaigning—because elections are won by people who are willing to get out, engage with residents, have conversations and make the Conservative case.
I have canvassed in 31 wards across England, with a special focus on our London target seats.
In addition to London, I was proud to have helped our amazing candidates in the South East, Eastern, West Midlands, North West, Yorkshire and South West regions.
Across London, we delivered a series of hard-fought and important results. We took Westminster Council after four years of Labour control. We held Bexley, Bromley, Hillingdon, and Kensington and Chelsea, and saw Jason Perry re-elected as Mayor of Croydon. We achieved a decisive victory in Harrow and prevented Labour majorities in Barnet, Enfield, Croydon and Wandsworth.
Beyond London, we held councils in Harlow, Broxbourne and Fareham, and strengthened our position in areas including Swindon, Trafford, Milton Keynes and Bradford.
These results are a testament to the relentless hard work of our councillors, candidates, activists and MPs—people who give their time, energy and commitment to delivering for their local communities.
