I was delighted to attend the Gainsborough Dinner—and even more delighted to have finally made it despite the train cancellations!
Set in a the tranquil Market Rasen Golf Club venue, it was an enjoyable evening with inspiring speeches from Lord McInnes and Sir Edward Leigh, Father of the House. My thanks to Sheila Bibb, East Midlands Area DCM, Glenn Puxty, Chairman of Gainsborough, and the entire Gainsborough team for such a well-organised and welcoming event.
It was a pleasure to join Stewart, President of the National Convention, Rachel Storer, Chairman of the East Midlands, Richard Lawrie, and Josh, together with an enthusiastic group of Young Conservatives whose energy and commitment to the Party were truly encouraging.
It was also a pleasure to speak with so many Gainsborough members and to catch up with Robert Kendrick, Chairman of Lincolnshire, his wife, and Jane Kendrick. Congratulations on winning the delicious hamper—well deserved!
